No School

Well, here I am. I didn't think I would get into the blog thing but I am keeping a journal on WORD anyway. I might as well make it cute. I am actually kind of excited to get started. However, I did the same thing with scrapbooking, I started out strong and dedicated and then almost completely stopped after child #3. So, wish me luck and keep me motivated you fellow bloggers out there.

There is no school today and tomorrow! I put an exclamation point because that means I don't have to get up as early or nag my kids as much. It is nice to have a break every once in awhile. My oldest, Austin, went on a trip to Rexburg, Idaho with the Deacons quorum to go to the Rexburg temple Open House. They left at 4:30 a.m. yesterday. I was a little worried because the weather did not look good but they have had a safe drive and all is well - - so far! We gave him our cell phone so that he can call us and keep us updated. He has called us four times already so he must be thinking that he is pretty cool talking on the cell phone. My kids do not leave home very often and so I keep counting my kids and asking myself, "Where is Austin?"
