Wide Open Spaces

Here are some pictures I took at a friends house. You can't tell from the pictures but, they live on a very large plot of land without any neighbors right next to them. It was nice to go out there and just take in the space and beauty. She gave my sister-in-law and I some perennials and tomatoes from her garden. We were very excited! She also had some fun things in her yard that I just couldn't help taking pictures of. Country living is very cool.

I couldn't get over the size of the swing set, yet there was still plenty of room for football, baseball, etc. It was easy to imagine the fun their kids must have had growing up.

Oh those are the good old kind of swings! The ones that are "too dangerous" for parks and retail sales nowadays. You can go SO high on those! Our kids really get the shaft....

I LOVE swings like that!!! Oh my gosh I remember when I was little that was my ultimate favorite thing to do, swing up high on one of those. I know some kids fell off and got hurt but accidents still happen no matter what we do. Why get rid of all the fun because of it? It reminds me of something I heard years ago. Money is not evil or good. It's what we DO with it that makes it one or the other. We have to use our choices for good and be smart about things. Smart and safe. There is the real challenge in life. I love wide open spaces too. Great pictures!!

Ohhhhh great pictures! I am sooo jealous of people who are living in wide open spaces! That is my dream. I would love to live on a big ranch with horses, get on my horse and ride off into the sunset! Sounds cliche, but I would love it! I also love the "back to school" pictures. Everyone looks so cute!
